Under 14 EH Cup v Plymouth Marjons
Isca 6-1 Plymouth Marjons
Scorers: Georgie Kingswell 2, Honor Huggett, Mattie Kolowska, India Owen, Ella Taylor.
Isca started conservatively in the first 15 minutes as they built up attacks down both sides and applied pressure on the Marjon defense. The back four held steady, with some excellent transfers and good first touches, keeping the play mainly in Marjon's half. The forwards took early opportunities with two well deserved goals after sustained pressure, leaving Isca 2-0 up at half time.
In the second half, the Isca defense and midfielders played strong hockey, transferring he ball across the pitch and moving high in the opposition half; although this allowed the Marjon's players to get behind the Isca defense during a few fast breakaways forcing the GK to make some good saves. Isca played well and scored 4 more goals in the second half, showing determination and good form for their first team match.
