U12s Barrow Cup - 17th December

On 17th December, Isca U12 girls and boys headed down to Plymouth Marjons to take part in the Barrow Cup. The competition included opposition from Wales, Somerset and Cornwall, and both teams played extremely well and had some very tough games against strong opposition.
The U12 Boys won 5 games and drew 1 putting them top of the table. The final was then played against Taunton Vale which resulted in a 1-1 draw. Due to the fantastic atmosphere of the competition and the sportsmanship between all players and teams it was decided that, rather than extra time or penalty shuffles, both teams would be joint first (although we had a better goal difference!).
The U12 Girls won 3, drew 2 and lost 1 game. This time the results meant that they were equal on points with Penzance for 2nd place in the table. Unfortunately due to goal difference Penzance went through and played Plymouth in the final and won 2-1.
Both U12 teams were a credit to the club and and big thank you must go to parents who are always so willing to transport the children around.
U12 Girls: Bella, Maddie, Emily, Maddie, Freya, Erin, Bea.
U12 Boys: George, Alex, Morgan, Hugo, Harry, Wilbur, Luke, Frazer.
