Membership system - Our membership system is provided by ClubBuzz, a platform used by a large portion of hockey clubs in the UK. To become a member of the club the player must complete the sign-up process by following the link below. Only once you have completed the membership form (included in sign up process) and submitted all of your contact details will you be a member of the club. https://iscahockeyclub.clubbuzz.co.uk/join
Payments - Membership payments are processed by GoCardless. During the sign up process you will be asked to choose a membership category & process payment. GoCardless is a trusted company who offer safe and secure payments by setting up a direct debit request with your bank account. Isca HC pay GoCardless a membership fee to process our members subscriptions. The process is much quicker than setting up a BACS payment for our members. For our volunteers, the GoCardless system gives us a ‘live’ update of payments which has proved to be a huge improvement on previous years. For more information on GoCardless please visit their website.
We believe that our membership prices are fairly priced for what we offer compared to other local clubs. We offer top quality Facilities & Coaching in the area with a competitive membership subscription rate.

U18 League player
£135 + £5 per EHC match, £12 per adult match (up to 6 matches)
Junior Sessional (U8 & U18)
We are no longer offering the sessional rate. Partly because it is difficult to manage, but also because we now have a waiting list and it seems fairer to prioritise children who will attend regularly rather than the really young ones who are not quite ready to commit to coming every week.
Adult Full GK
Student / Apprentice League GK
U18 League GK

Description of Membership Categories;
Adult Full: £360
Adult Full Membership is for all members who train and play league fixtures on a weekly basis. The majority of our members are in this category. It includes club membership, weekly training and match fees, match teas for home fixtures, travel cost for the driver of a full car of players when they drive to and from an away fixture. It works out at around £15 per week if you spread the cost across the whole season.
*Please note that the ClubBuzz system automatically allocates members into a ‘junior’ or ‘adult’ category according to age (under or over 18 years). This is why we have had to create 2 categories for Student/ Apprentice & U18 League players
Student / Apprentice League player: £286
This category is for students and those on apprentice training courses. Applies to all ages and those returning home from university can automatically use this method for one year. Student / apprentice league player gets all the benefits of a full member.
U18 League player: £286
This is for juniors under the age of 18 who train and play with adult teams.
Includes match fees for junior and adult matches.
Junior Standard: £135 + £5 per EHC match
This includes club membership & junior training sessions throughout the season which runs from August through to the end of March. This does not include summer camps.
If the junior plays in adult league matches, these cost the same as an adult occassional player at £12 per match (up to 6 matches)
Adult Full GK: £216
Adult Full GK is for goalkeepers who train and play league fixtures on a weekly basis. It includes club membership, weekly training and match fees, match teas for home fixtures, travel cost for the driver of a full car of players when they drive to and from an away fixture and a discount due to the expense of buying goalkeeper kit.
*Please note that the ClubBuzz system automatically allocates members into a ‘junior’ or ‘adult’ category according to age (under or over 18 years). This is why we have had to create 2 categories for Student/ Apprentice & U18 League GKs.
Student / Apprentice League GK: £145
This category is for students and those on apprentice training courses. It applies to all ages and those returning home from university can automatically use this method for one year. Student/ apprentice league player gets all the benefits of a full member.

Adult Training £125 (+ £12 per match)
This category is for adult members who train on a regular basis but can't play. On the occasions that they play a game it is £12 per fixture just like an adult occasional player.
Previous membership process for comparison.
Membership System - Membership Secretary had to print membership forms, actively take them up to the range of different training sessions across the week and try to get 500+ people to remember to complete the forms and bring them back to the next session. A relentless process of chasing people which would take weeks and still people would fall through the net. This is now all done at sign up through ClubBuzz
Payments - Previously, our membership secretary had to take every single payment entry off the bank statement and formulate a spreadsheet of who had paid what. The membership secretary was expected to know what category every member was in. There was no set payment structure like we have now (either in full or in 6 equal payments across 6 months) so some members would pay random amounts. The whole process of getting the statement from the treasurer, filtering the information out, realising that someone hadn’t paid could take a few days. So just chasing one person would take ages. With 500+ playing members, you can imagine, the scale of admin this produced for the membership secretary. It was a ridiculous task for one person to achieve in a voluntary role.
