Despite the continuous rain, both teams showed great effort and team play for an excellent game of hockey. After a defensive start, the new combination of Isca players came together and started to create more chances in the first half. There was a lot of end-to-end hockey with Clifton scoring on a break towards the end of the first half. Isca showed more composure in the second half with some good passing play leading to a number of attacking opportunities which we didn't manage to convert. Clifton scored their second goal on another successful break despite some excellent defensive play by Isca. Overall it was an even game with good play at both ends of the pitch but with Clifton better capitalising on their opportunities in the D.
