Match Report | Scorers: Liz Guildford, Sue Hutchings, Meg Pearson Player of the match: Lydia Edwards and Sue Hutchings Isca played well against a fairly young and fresh team. With lots of shots on goal and much time spent in the attacking circle it was Meg Pearson who took the first goal. It’s fair to say the girls played down a little in the end of the first half, but Liz Hodges and Tammy Vukusic worked well down the middle. The second half saw two more goals, with excellent movement from Sue Hutchings to beat three players in the circle- one of which scored! Finally Liz got the final goal, smashing ball into the backboard. The Isca girls retained their structure and skill until the end whistle, keeping their cool in what was quite a heated game. |
