Newly promoted Isca can take a lot of positives from their first league game in South Division. Isca worked hard from the first whistle with good passing play and absorbed Newquay's attack well. Isca were unlucky to concede 2 before the half time whistle from Newquay pushing hard and high. The second half saw Isca with a number of chances on the counter-attack and were unlucky not to convert. Newquay continued to pile on the pressure and despite a number of great saves from Ffion Barham, Newquay eventually put in another 2 goals. Isca continued to fight back and were unlucky not to score before the final whistle. The 4s are heading into next week with a lot of positives after this opening game against a tough opposition.
