Plymouth started the game with high intensity, scoring within the first 15 minutes. Throughout the first half, Plymouth had several chances, however, Polly Salter made some excellent saves to keep the scoreline low going into halftime. Isca came back out for the second half with a renewed sense of purpose, and gradually built play over the next 10 minutes, eventually allowing Annabel Gulliver to score an equaliser. Several interceptions and a period of end-to-end hockey ensued. Maddie Davies then broke free of the defence, drove the ball down the back line and slotted the ball past the Plymouth keeper. Isca piled on the pressure for the last 10 minutes of the game, eventually securing a short corner. Katy Lavelle cooly aimed for the far past, adding a third goal to Isca's tally for the day.
