Match Report | Scorers: Juliette Weller, Dizzy Leman. Player of the Match: Francesca Wilson. Isca 2s travelled away to Exe for the local derby. The game started at a high intensity and Exe caught the defenders asleep, managing to score a goal in the opening 5 minutes. It took Isca a while to find their feet in the game but, in the following 15 minutes of the first half, their game was beginning to develop nicely. Going into half time Isca were losing 4-0. Still determined, they entered the second half with the same determination they started with and played the simple hockey that they have been doing all season. After 10 minutes Isca were awarded with a goal from some great build up play. Exe dropped their tempo and allowed Isca to score another. A late goal from Exe completed the game with Isca winning the second half 2-1 and with lots of positives to take forward. The final score was 5-2 to Exe. |
