Match Report

Player of the Match: Lucy Lee-Smith.

Isca 2s had a fantastic game today. Despite going down 1-0 in the first 5 mins from an early short corner, the team fought back hard and dominated the game right till the end. The 2s had some brilliant passages of play, linking up from the back 4, through to the mids, and up to the forwards looking very dangerous in the D. We managed to create a lot of chances and unfortunately agonisingly close to scoring. Despite this, the team kept fighting and showed a lot of grit and determination to try and get an equaliser. We remained focused and put the opposition under huge amounts of pressure. Cheltenham had another short corner in the 2nd half and successfully converted this to make it 2-0. The score really wasn’t a true reflection of the game and the outstanding effort put in by all players. It was a fantastic game of hockey from both sides and a great team performance from Isca. Lots of encouragement for us going forward!
