Match Report

Isca A were excited to get their season underway with a trip down to hosts Plymouth University. The first half offered no goal so from either team. Liam Bojar was kept busy and had to make 3-4 key saves to keep the score at 0-0 whilst his team couldn't put the final pass together in attack in the first half. 10 minutes into the second half Isca won the first shortness corner of the game. Tom Nitti stepped up and fired a low shot which Clarke Drew manage s to tip into the goal. Shortly after, Isca won another's corner through some silky skills from Tom Taylor. Nitti slipped the ball to the left for Jamie Walsh to have the shot, Tom Taylor intercepted and scored a stylish spinning goal. Plymouth Uni brought a goal back before Isca put together a well worked passage of play. Morris intercepted the ball and passed across fileld to Haigh, who drove in and slipped the ball to Harrington who drew the keeper and slotted home to make the score 3-1. Isca scored their 4th at the back post by Haigh. The hosts scored in the last 2 minute scoring of the game to make he final score 4-2.

Isca 2nd team Debutants today included; Max Shillings, Alex Morris & Tom Taylor.

 

Today's players man of the match was deservedly Tom Taylor.
