Isca Junior and Youth Hockey Club has a large and active section, known as The Club's Investment, who are coached on a Saturday morning. Session start for season 2007-2008 is September 8th 0900 - 10.30 on the astro pitch at Exeter School, Barrack Road, Exeter. Here we provide a safe and enjoyable environment for youngsters of both sexes from the age of 6 to 14  to receive a high level of instruction tempered with a great deal of fun.. Isca provides equipment and qualified coaches to create a professional environment for over 60 children. Here they learn not only the skills of the game, but also the disciplines of team sport and tactics

Any child can come along - we welcome all children from age 6 to 14. They do not need to have played hockey before as our sessions cater for all abilities. They need the enthusiasm to want to get active and find out about hockey. Anyone can come along and try a session. Before starting a session you will need to register your child to ensure we can run the sessions safely for everyone involved. We will need to know your contact details, any important medical information about your child and whether they have had any experience of playing hockey before. Please come 15 minutes before the session start time to allow time to register. Your child will need sports clothes suitable for the weather, shin pads and footwear for Astro pitches  (normally trainers but not football boots). If your child wants to continue then you will need to complete a membership form and pay a membership fee of £50 per annum. membership forms are available at the Saturday coaching session, or download the forms from these links. Membership Form   Parental Consent

Junior Club Shirts:
Shirts with club and  sponsor logs are now available for purchase. They can be worn as a training shirt, match shirt and a trendy option for the disco!! They will be blue with white trim and will fit an 8-9 year old, younger members may find it a bit big but it will not swamp them. 2008 Summer School
On August 27th & 28th seventy boys and girls aged 8 to 14 attended two days of training at Exeter University pitches.
They covered a whole range of skills and were coached in the latest techniques advocated by England Hockey which they were encouraged to put into their game play.
This annual summer school has a high reputation for quality coaching and is ideal for the young players about to compete for places in their school teams and many who will play for Isca men's and ladies teams in the new season. We hope to see many of them join us in September for regular training.
Our thanks to organiser Jane Cornelius, coaches Graham Skinner, Ali Marsh, Polly Salter, Nicky King, Liz Hodges, Alex Bulleid and Anne Baker.
Particular thanks to our coaches Simon Tremlett, Simon Higgins, Hetti Murray, Harry Rogers and GK coach Guy Orrell. These young people acted as great role models for the young players and set standards for the young players to aspire to.
